On the calculator why does my CRSC payment go up if I reduce my DOD disability percentage. Seems it would be the opposite?

because you arent changing the amount also. say you have 30 percent and pay is 1000, so your calculated high 3 is a little over 3000, and it goes from there. if you move that percentage down so say 10 percent, it calcs high 3 around 10k and calcs from there...remember its based on your high 3, the calc does this through your current pay before offset and percentage. this is a preferred way to account for cola over the years, vs using high 3 what it was at time of retirement

You don't qualify because you cannot receive CRSC and CRDP (this is your retirement) concurrently.

Why are the disability rates not the same as that as the VA percentage. I have 70% PTSD 40% Carpal tunnel 30% Carpal tunnel 10% and 10% diabetes neurological in both lower extremities and 20% diabetes. All CRSC decision letter approved but only received 90% CRSC.

yes, it references 2025 va disability rates. keep in mind though that in most cases it doesn’t matter due to being capped by time of service or total offset amount. the bottom of the calculator tells you which cap is applied to your info
